This represents the first stage of its mill expansion project which will bring plant capacity to 45,000 tonnes per day from 40,000 tonnes per day. The installation of the DFRs increases the efficiency and the capacity of the current cleaner circuit, which is expected to increase copper concentrate grade from about 25% to 28%, resulting in lower concentrate transportation, smelting and refining costs. "We are pleased that the installation of the DFRs was completed on schedule and on budget," commented Gil Clausen , Copper Mountain's President and CEO.

Copper Mountain Mining Corporation (TSX: CMMC) (ASX: C6C) ("Copper Mountain" or the "Company") announces today that owing to the COVID-19 global pandemic, it intends to delay the filing of its statement of executive compensation as otherwise required by subsections 9.3.1(2) and (2.2) of National Instrument 51-102 - Continuous Disclosure Obligations in reliance on British Columbia Instrument 51-516 - Temporary Exemptions from Certain Requirements to File or Send Securityholder Materials of the British Columbia Securities Commission. The Company expects to include its statement of executive compensation in its management information circular in connection with its 2020 annual general meeting. As announced on April 3, 2020 the Company is planning on holding its 2020 Annual General Meeting on September 9, 2020. Further details on the event will be communicated via news release and in the filing of the notice of meeting, as required.
